- Vanilla dungeon map with labelled staircases (helps me navigate) https://mikesrpgcenter.com/zelda3/maps.html
- Vanilla dungeon map with labelled item chests (so I don't miss any) (different page on same site has all dark rooms) https://maplequeensaku.weebly.com/news/legend-of-zelda-a-link-to-the-past-random...
- Room/chest names (change dungeons using the tabs at the bottom) (for when I read "bob's chest" and say "what is bob's chest?") https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1U09oSogEFcswqiyTyAPnH4nn6OD6_hswVFu-It48...

Randomizers
(all of these randomizers support No Logic except for SMZ3; use any you like. I think the easiest way to generate No Logic Double Rods is avianart (under the Ladder tab)):
- VT Randomizer has a web generator at https://alttpr.com/ and is designed to be easy to use (VT is short for Version Test)
- Entrance Randomizer; all other randomizers in this list except VT are enhanced forks of Entrance. VT and Entrance are not branches/forks of each other; they were developed separately. VT uses Entrance randomizer internally for entrance shuffle.
- Door rando is a fork of Entrance and adds the option to shuffle door destinations inside dungeons. https://github.com/aerinon/ALttPDoorRandomizer It also has other features like multiworld support. It has different (arguably not worse) bugs than VT. Download it to generate games on your computer by double clicking DungeonRandomizer.exe (or equivalent), or generate online via avianart (listed below).
- Overworld rando is a fork of Door rando. It has the features of door rando plus support for shuffling screens on the overworld, or mixing light and dark world. It also has a few additional features like follower shuffle, many of which get backported to Door rando. https://github.com/codemann8/ALttPDoorRandomizer (yes, this repository also says Door Randomizer; it is the forked Overworld version).
- https://avianart.games/ and the discord bot Sahasrahbot let you generate games using preset settings. Depending on the settings you pick, it might use a different randomizer to make the game (VT, Door, Overworld). This is probably the easiest way to generate games with non-default settings, although there still are a lot to choose from with a lot of jargon. Most of the basic options are explained here https://alttpr.com/en/options , and many of the more complex presets are explained here https://sahasrahbot.synack.live/presets.html
- Karafruit's fork of VT has some exclusive options like bee weapon. The next version will keep the same new options, but fork Overworld instead. https://alttpr.gwaa.kiwi/en/randomizer
- SMZ3 is a randomizer which includes both Super Metroid and Zelda 3 in one game. https://samus.link There's also a quad randomizer in development (currently playable) that adds Zelda 1 and Metroid 1.
- https://archipelago.gg/ is descended from a fork of entrance rando. It allows playing different games together in multiworld (the first 4 were ALttP, Super Metroid, Minecraft, and Factorio, but there are lots now). AP ALttP is a little feature-light, but it has all of the basic features + entrance rando etc.
- https://multiworld.gg is a ZeldaSpeedRuns fork of Archipelago that has some different games on the website (although you can also download Archipelago from the archipelago.gg site and generate multiworlds for all of the same games). There are probably other differences; I'm not sure.
Emulators
- https://github.com/black-sliver/bsnes-plus (my top pick; a fork of BSNES plus that optionally supports autotracking)
- ALttP Online uses a custom fork of BSNES to allow multiple players to play ALttP or Super Metroid together and see each others' sprites running around. They can optionally share items, unlocked doors, enemies killed etc.. It's compatible with randos and multiworld. There's another version that works on real hardware with no sprite sharing. https://github.com/alttpo/alttpo
- These are what I use, but you can use any Super Nintendo you want (SNES9X or the nwa/rr forks, Bizhawk, Retroarch, Mister FPGA, a regular Super Nintendo, a Super NT etc.).
- For autotracking https://github.com/alttpo/sni/releases/latest
- Custom music packs https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XRkR4Xy6S24UzYkYBAOv-VYWPKZIoUKgX04RbjF128Q
