Down the Match

Pick up and line up 3 little guys to clear them, and pick up clocks to get more time. Clear two columns and open the hatch at the bottom to get to the next floor. Can you reach the party room?

Flying guys can only match diagonally. Ground guys can match in any direction.

Line up 4+ to create a bomb guy, and make a cross/X/T to make a lightning guy. These can melt ice and clear a lot at once, but don't get caught in the blast!

Plays a lot like Wario's Woods with some twists from Mr. Driller and Bejeweled 2.

Default Controls:
Move: arrows/wasd/dpad/left analog stick
Pick up/place one: Z/J/Xbox A
Pick up/place stack: X/K/Xbox B
Rain: C/L/Xbox Y
Push: Space/Xbox X (or down + pickup)

Known bugs (if you find a bug not listed here, you can post it in the comments):

• On controller, analog input isn't handled super well (sorry). This applies to analog sticks as well as triggers/l2/r2. Maybe my next game will handle them better.
• Browser version hitches a bit, and you may need to fiddle with the in-game resolution settings to get it to look right. Windows/Linux downloads are available.
• If you have Steam Input, DS4Windows, Joy to Key, or something like that on, you might see double inputs (or might not; the game handles it decently well).
• You can run/climb under a falling piece and place it without activating it under certain conditions. I consider this more of a quirk than a bug.
• If your settings file gets corrupted somehow, the game may not handle it correctly. If you see anything weird, you can delete your settings file at "%APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\Down the Match" (Windows), or "~/.local/share/godot/app_userdata/Down the Match" (Linux). I don't know where the browser one is; it's the default Godot location.
